Facts about ICAF

All our programs including the Arts Olympiad are free-of-charge, our World Children’s Festival is free and open to the public, and our ChildArt magazine published since 1998 is free of commercial advertisements.

Since volunteers and interns comprise over 85% of ICAF’s staff, our overhead is the lowest of any national charity, thus nearly all of your contribution will fund our free services.

Since 1997, more than five million children worldwide have participated in and benefitted from our programs and nearly half a million individuals have attended our festivals, exhibitions, and events worldwide.

ICAF is independently ranked among the 25 Top Children’s Charities in the United States and our work advances the following UN Social Development Goals:

1) Promote good health;
2) Bring quality education;
3) Ensure gender equality;
4) Reduce inequities;
5) Build peace in communities and the world at large.

Precious is the imagination that children limn in their artwork. But the mainstream art world ignores it. Help us harness children’s imagination and show the world that the future of art is young.

Designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by the IRS on 11/05/1997, ICAF’s Federal Tax ID is 52-2032649
Theory of Change

I am grateful to organizations like the International Child Art Foundation that gives us the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of our nation’s young people. I encourage you to continue to support programs that help children to discover their talents and believe in themselves.

The positive message of peace and hope promised by the International Child Art Foundation is commendable and worthy of great recognition.
